Moreno Valley is a city in Riverside County, California, in the Inland Empire region between Riverside and Perris, roughly 60 miles east of Los Angeles. Its population was 208,634 at the 2020 census, making it the second-largest city in Riverside County and one of the Inland Empire's major population centers. The city occupies the broad Moreno Valley plain, framed by the Box Springs Mountains to the north and the hills around Lake Perris to the south.
